    Hi,

    I translated all the lines from the .POT file but still there are the post metadata “AUTHOR”, “DATE” and “CATEGORIES” lines and the “Read More” text. Where can I find and edit them? Also, where can I change the date style to display the default from WordPress settings?

    Thanks!

    It looks like these weren’t escaped for translation and will be updated in the next version. The date, however, is not a WordPress setting but instead is template related and will need to be overridden in the template if you want to change it.

    So if you want to override the date format for this post meta section and go ahead and handle translations in the meantime, you can copy the template-parts/post/meta.php file to your child theme (fusion-child/template-parts/post/meta.php) via FTP. You’ll see the date format on line 6 and you’ll want to replace this line:

    <?php the_date(_s_default_date_format()); ?>

    With something like the following:

    <?php the_date('F j, Y'); ?>

    For a full list of date and time options, take a look here – https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time

    Sure thing. Just put in an update with ThemeForest and these should all be escaped in the new version released in a few hours.

    Hi, thanks for the update!

    I can contribute with a translation to Brazilian Portuguese. Here are the .po and .mo files.

    Thank you again! :D

    Hi Joshua!

    The “Read More” text still is not in the languages/fusion.pot

    @schneiders You’re right, looks like we missed a couple in the last update. Should be all updated now (just pushed an update to ThemeForest), but let me know if any others pop up.

    Fixed those, social links, and nav text. Feel free to post back if we missed any others. Update should be available within a few hours on ThemeForest.

    Hi Joshua,

    I love the fusion theme but I’m having trouble to make the wpml work on the header. The english and french pages works fine but I could not find a way to make the header switch from french to english. I manually have to refresh the page to update the header. site is balboasport.com

    Thanks

    @joelmineau WPML probably isn’t capable of doing this via AJAX. Since this is a one-time link and doesn’t affect UI on the site, I would add the ‘no-ajax’ class to your WPML links which will force refresh on only these links when clicked.

    If you need help understanding how to add this class, feel free to post back with the method you’re currently using to add these links to your header.
