    Hi Admin,

I’m having issues with the social media sharing buttons on the blog posts on my one-page Quickstep website. Currently I’m running the one-page scrolling functionality, meaning that when I click on a blog post, the post populates at the bottom of the site. Not a problem – the problem is, when it populates at the bottom of the site, the social media sharing buttons are broken, and when I click on the broken buttons they dont pop-up with the sharing function. Instead it looks like a light-box tries to appear, freezing the site.

Is there any way to make it so the blog posts continue to work on the one-page, while also enabling the social media sharing buttons to open their pop-up window?

It depends on how those social media buttons are added. If they are added through HTML and CSS, then you can load them through AJAX at the bottom of the page. If they are inserted via Javascript (and it sounds like they are based on the lightbox features you mention), then you’re going to have a very difficult time getting them to load through AJAX.

We can’t provide support for 3rd party plugins, but if the plugin author provides an init function, we can attempt to load it when a blog post is clicked. Otherwise if you really need this functionality, I would suggest either using a plugin that doesn’t use Javascript (there should be plenty) or disable the AJAX feature for blog posts and just load them separately.
