    thanks Joshua.

    I have another question: How can I add a button to the main header? (centered). Its bascially a call to action button.

    Also, I have a plugin installed (the weather plugin) , which I´d like to include in the header area (cornered).

    The reference website is http://parqueandinojuncal.mvmt.cl/

    Thank you,

    Nicole

    To add a button to the header you’d have to modify a template. If you feel comfortable doing this, the best way is to do this (preferably in a child theme if possible) is to add your button into the header.php file of Glissando.

    Then copy and paste your button code on line 106 after the navigation. The following is the code for one of the current buttons you’re using on your site.

    <a class="vc_general vc_btn3 vc_btn3-size-md vc_btn3-shape-rounded vc_btn3-style-modern vc_btn3-color-default" href="http://parqueandinojuncal.mvmt.cl/acerca/" title="">Leer más</a>

    As for the weather plugin, if they offer a PHP line, this would also be the place to add it. If not and if they have a shortcode, then you could do the following, replacing ‘[weather_shortcode]’ with the correct shortcode.

    <?php echo do_shortcode( '[weather_shortcode]' ); ?>

    Thanks Josh.

    Another question:

    How can I take the titles out of the header section in pages, and still leave the background image?

    Another question regarding the menu.

    When i place the cursor on different parts of pages, a specific menu item gets selected, and if you click, it takes you to the page in the menu. This should only occur if i place my mouse on top of a menu item.

    Thanks!

    There is an option beneath the page you’re editing to show or hide the title.

    As for the menu, you’ve made it 1240px tall so it’s covering most of the page. Reducing to a normal height will solve this issue.

    Hi Joshua,

    Thanks again for all your help.

    I´m currently trying to put a background in the main menu bar so it is easier for visibility. (I Did this in the style CSS code). Nonetheless, Im trying to resolve the issue still, since the menu bar constantly repeats itself throughout the site (going down). Reference: parqueandinojuncal.mvmt.cl

    Is there a way in the preferences of the theme to do this?

    Another question: How can I get the social media and search bar to appear in the main menu?

    Thanks!

    The header background color in theme options (under the Header tab) should set a background color for the header. But this may block the rest of your site since your header height is still set at 1040px.

    To add social media icons you will place the social icons shortcode in the header.php file mentioned above. As for the search menu, you can also place this code here or try following this tutorial that also covers a bit of styling – http://diythemes.com/thesis/rtfm/add-search-form-wp-wordpress-nav-menus/

    I’ll help you out with this edit really quick, but in the future know that this is outside the scope of this forum. This forum is meant for basic theme help and bug fixes, whereas this falls under theme customization and is using a third party plugin.

    Try adding this to your Custom CSS to align the icons in your menu after scrolling.

    .header.scrolled .vc_icon_element-icon {
        margin-top: 2px;
        float: left;
        left: 30px;
        margin-right: 5px;
    }

    Hi Josh,
    Thanks so much, I appreciate it. It seemed to work out ok in the home page, but in the other pages the menu hold a code (and not the facebook, twitter, and instagram icons). Do you know why this could be?

    Do you mean why aren’t the icons showing up?

    It looks like the font awesome icon script you’re using isn’t being enqueued on other pages, probably because you haven’t added icons to the body of the other pages. This is probably a question better suited for the Visual Composer support forum.
