    hello

    I have one more issue, it doesn’t seem to translate properly the titles show in both languages as you can see on my website, and when i click on the flag, it doesn’t change the language but goes to the bottom of the page to a blank space ?
    Here is the website

    http://www.lejeudebattoir.fr/

    Thanks

    Thanks to your help, it is perfect ! It works…
    but weirdly it changes the behaviour on my portfolio images and on the pages ?
    The portfolio images open with a black background with no arrow to go next, and no closing button ?

    And now when i click on the top menu, it opens the page separately instead of just going to the one page aera ? I don’t know if i am clear ?

    Thanks again for your help ;)

    I see the titles translating correctly. Can you give me an example of where they are not translated correctly?

    Posted in response to your other reply:

    It looks like the text editor you used created special characters when you copy and pasted the above. The PHP is now being output as text incorrectly and creating a Javascript error on your site.

    You may want to try editing in notepad or other simple text editor to avoid creating special characters.

    I tricked and changed the features to have the text appear correctly. The only remaining issue is now :

    That’s still related to the issue I pointed out above- please read my last response. When you copy and pasted the code from the previous post, you’ve copied somewhere and it’s added special characters into your code, breaking the functionality of everything on your page.

    You need to copy and paste that area again using a plain text editor.

    Ah ok
    But how can i see where the error is as I don’t have the original anymore ?

    It’s the same line in js/customjs.php that you changed before (http://themeluxe.com/support/topic/incompatibility-with-polylang/)

    You just need to copy and paste again in a plain text editor. If you’ve edited the entire file, you may need to restore the file from the original js/customjs.php file by downloading the theme from ThemeForest again.

    If you’re using Windows and don’t have a code editor, notepad is a good tool that will not add special characters to the code. Never use Word or any other editors with formatting for editing code- it will end badly.

    I did it in dreamweaver previously by coping the all js file actually. I just took the original theme js file and did it again in text edit this time. Then copied it in wordpress. The issue is remaining…
    In dreaweaver it gives me an error at line 4 :

    <script type=”text/javascript”>

    <?php $one_page_enabled = of_get_option(‘qs_one_page’); ?>
    <?php
    $home_url = explode(‘?’, home_url());

    Maybe you understand the problem more than me …

    Dreamweaver is not a good code editor and no longer maintained so it might be best to avoid it for use around code.

    There’s a space being inserted when copying from the previous line of code. Your tags should look like this:

    <?php

    You might try doing this directly in Appearance->Editor in your dashboard if you see the file available for editing.

    I tried with that but it doesn’t seem to solve the issue ;(

    <script type=”text/javascript”>

    <?php $one_page_enabled = of_get_option(‘qs_one_page’); ?>
    <?php $home_url = explode(‘?’, home_url());

    Please look in your js/customjs.php file. You still have the same issue with a space between the < and the ?.

    Yours looks like this:

    < ?php

    When it should look like this:

    <?php
