    Hello Joshua,

I have another issue; So our Dutch site is hosted on a different account than our US site and somehow, that hosting got upgraded to php 7.0. I downgraded the php back to 5.6, but we are still having a lot of issues with post and image grids. The padding between items is not recognized, the “Load More” and Pagination buttons are invisible and worst of all, the content completely disappears from the post grid. It comes back if I add a new post grid, but then disappears again after 4-5 days. The Lux grid works great and I’ve replaced to that were I can, but I have custom categories that the Lux grid cannot access, plus, for some reason my client detests masonry grids.

Safari is having the most trouble but I’m experiencing the same issues in Chrome to a lesser degree. I’ve tried updating the Kirki toolkit, the Composer and even the theme template with no luck on all fronts. Any ideas? Here’s a sample page that’s having issues: https://cloud4good.nl/blog-test/ Last I checked it’s still visible but you’ll see the missing buttons, lack of spacing and issues with the post grid alignment (e.g. when one item has a longer excerpt in the first two columns, all content defaults to show on the next line so there are odd gaps.)

    Thank you in advance!

The main issue I saw with your post grid (and site in general) is that it took a very, very long time to load. Even after the page loaded, it took another 20+ seconds for the grid to load for a total of 90 seconds in page load. Your server or DNS may have some configuration issues.

In terms of the styling and pagination visibility, do you have Visual Composer styles turned off in your settings under Customizer?

    Thank you Joshua,

The hosting is through the same company as the US site, which is not experiencing these issues. I’ve called them out on this before, but now that I know it’s not on our end, I’ll push back.

Visual composer styles are turned on currently. Should I turn those off?

I see the site loading much faster now, but there’s an error preventing your grid from loading:

    window.vc_prettyPhoto

    1. Since prettyPhoto is loaded, can you first try disabling all other plugins aside from VC to see if there’s a conflict?

    2. If that doesn’t work, can you change to a different theme to see if there’s a conflict with the theme?

    Thank you Joshua!

For the meantime, disabling and activating the plugins solved the problem for the meantime. The issue is intermittent so I’ll monitor to see if that made a permanent fix.
