Theme Installation: The documentation says “Then choose etch.zip and submit.” I do not see “etch.zip”.

Did you download the entire folder from ThemeForest or just the installable theme file? Etch.zip will be directly inside the folder you downloaded from ThemeForest (make sure to download the entire folder and not just the theme).

I am downloading the “All files & documentation” option.

When extracting the file from the zip file, I get an error dialog box:

    1 interrupted Action
An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. if you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem. … Path too long

    _theme_font_awesome_capability.sass
    Type: SASS File

It would not work when I selected the Try Again option so I skyped it.

Are you certain you’re downloading Etch? There are no SASS files included with Etch and no files named “_theme_font_awesome_capability.”

Can you try from a different computer and see if this error is isolated to your computer?

Also, I’m curious how you’re able to see the theme documentation if you haven’t already unzipped the main folder. You only need to unzip the main folder and don’t need to unzip the theme itself.

Okay, I now realize that you have a theme called Etch. I purchased Fusion – Creative Multi-Purpose WordPress Theme https://themeforest.net/item/fusion-creative-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/20320094?s_rank=4

    Fusion Documentation:
    Theme Installation
You have two options for installing your theme:

    1. FTP – Log into your site using your favorite FTP program and go your WordPress installation’s /wp-content/themes directory. Upload the unzipped ‘fusion’ folder into this directory.
    2. WordPress Admin Upload – Log into the admin area of your WordPress site. Go to Appearance -> Themes. On this page click ‘Install Themes’ and select upload. Then choose etch.zip and submit.

And, I was able to unzip the file that I downloaded. The error message was for the SASS files and it would not work when I selected the “Try Again” option so I selected the “Skip” option which opened everything else.
