    Hi,
I’m trying to upload an image to appear as a background image in my home page.
In the section “Pages”, “Home”, “Page background image” I click on “Upload file”, choose an image from my computer, but then nothing happens. Can you please help?
    Thanks a lot

Can you privately post a login to your site?

Looks like your site/server may currently be down. If you ping back here when it’s back up, I’ll take a look.

I also have another issue which is that the site doesn’t appear full screen on a desktop. There is a large margin on the right side. Can you also help with that?

I mean that I was unable to access your site due to server configuration problems ( https://imgur.com/a/SHAxt ). Looks like your server may not be setup properly.

The big gap (loading issue you refer to) is due to the Cherry Services List plugin you’ve installed. It applies styles to the QuickStep container that break the layout. Deactivating this will fix the issue.

Can you please privately post your FTP credentials. I believe the issue may be corrupt theme files. We can help you fix it, but we’re currently unable to work on the site.

Hi, I had no issues accessing the site until now indeed I can’t access my dashboard anymore, don’t know what to do..
I had gone through the forum before I asked you and saw you answering to someone to desactivate all the plugins to solve the issue, so I had done that, but I still could not upload a background image. Moreover, I installed the Cherry plugin after I already had the issue. So had to be something else.
The whole thing is down now…

You can create FTP users through a cPanel if your host offers one. Who are you hosted through?

The site is back. Can you please figure out the background image issue, and the white band on the right on desktop screen issue?

Ok update, the white large band on the right was indeed due to the Cherry services pluggin.
However, like I said, the upload of background image has been there since the beginning, even before I installed that pluggin. And I had tried to desactivate ALL the pluggins without success. SO it’s something else.
Thanks in advance for your help. I can’t use that theme without a background image.

Glad to help out, but I still need your FTP credentials in order to help. This appears to be an isolated incident with your site/server, so there may not be much I can do without being able to modify the code.
