I can’t import the demo XML file into my WordPress. I keep gettinh the 404 error after the upload finishes. Or it apears a blank space in the import area. My server PHP settings are:
    PHP SETTINGS

    Am I missing something?

Hi @babsjgs I think I responded to you in the other thread, but we need more information to help.

A blank page or 404 means something is wrong with your server configuration. You may want to ask your host as many can help you resolve issues and help adjust actual PHP settings.

If you can turn on your WordPress debug or access your server’s error log, I can point you in the right direction.

The support on the server said that maybe the XML demo that I have is not compatible with the current version of wordpress. The upload is sucessfull, the “reading” of the XML is not.

Sorry to be blunt, but your server support is incorrect. Just tested on a fresh install with the latest WP version and this is working. Not to mention that WordPress isn’t going to break 10+ years of backwards compatibility.

A blank page or 404 is definitely a server error. At the very least they should be able to help you check your server error logs. It’s very likely that your server memory limits or upload size limits are set too low.
