So there is a not rebuildable bug in the Portfolio-elementor-carousel. Strangely I can add a Portfolio grid without any problems to my elementor page, but the Portfolio carousel will only sometimes work in elementor and never display on site.November 2, 2017 at 5:44 pm #47266This reply has been marked as private.November 2, 2017 at 5:47 pm #47267
So the Carousel works fine if I create on an empty site. But I can’t implement on the site I need to. There is probably a corruption going on?November 2, 2017 at 6:01 pm #47268
1. Add placeholders to your Contact Form 7 – https://contactform7.com/setting-placeholder-text/
2. Or comment out lines 5939-5942 in main.js temporarily to see if this resolves the issue.November 30, 2017 at 9:48 am #47438
Again. After the update to the new Version my portfolio doesn’t show up.November 30, 2017 at 11:06 am #47441
Can you confirm that:
1. You do in fact have portfolio items that are ‘published’
2. You don’t have an Query settings or meta queries added to your portfolio items
3. This persists even when disabling all non-theme related plugins
If you’ve tried all the above and nothing works, please post back with your login credentials and I’ll take a look.November 30, 2017 at 4:54 pm #47448This reply has been marked as private.November 30, 2017 at 4:55 pm #47449
I’m hoping this is the right thread. Sorry if it isn’t.
I have a brand new install of WP and Fusion. I imported the agency portfolio theme using the theme importer. All recommended plugins have also been installed by using the theme import process. Great process by the way.
The issue: The portfolio grid isn’t showing up on the home page even though all demo posts have been published within the portfolio post type.
Home page – http://cfc.4f0.myftpupload.com/
Published post example – http://cfc.4f0.myftpupload.com/portfolio/the-midnight/
I’ve taken a look at the portfolio grid within the home page and within Elementor and there doesn’t seem to be an issue there, just that it’s not actually pulling any posts.
If you have any ideas, I’m open to them. My next step is to just start from scratch and clear out this install.
Will wait for you response. ThanksNovember 30, 2017 at 8:07 pm #47453
@pletourneau Please open your own ticket and we’ll help you out. You can do so by clicking the forum title ‘Fusion’ and scrolling down to see the ticket form.November 30, 2017 at 8:27 pm #47454
It looks like this may be caused by the latest updates with the new portfolio taxonomy/category filter. Pushing an update now that will hopefully be released in a few hours with this fixed.
@pletourneau You may also want to try updating to this version once it’s released (1.3.26). If that doesn’t solve your issue, you can open a new ticket and we’ll investigate your separately.
